Cecilia married Edward Rape during the early 1930's in Kincaid, Ill. They had one son, Edward David Jr. He was last heard from in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

From its context, the following article appears to be about Cecilia's husband even. The earthquake mentioned was probably related to or was the one that caused Yellowstone Park to be partially closed that year. It was so big that it caused a new lake to be created in the northern area of the park. I visited Yellowstone in September of that year, shortly after the earthquake.

Masthead and date missing (probably the Taylorville Breeze-Courier, about 1959):

FORMER LOCAL RESIDENT VICTIM OF EARTHQUAKE

Edward Ira (Red) Rape, 55, of Sheridan, Wyo., former resident of Kincaid, died Monday in a hospital at Billings, Mont., of injuries received in the mountain landslide-earthquake in that area last week. Word of his death was received here by his cousin, Mrs. Frank (Elsie) Bates, 407 Ridge Avenue, City Park Addition.

Mr. Rape was born at Girard, Feb. 17, 1904, the son of Ira and Myrtle Speagle Rape. He resided at Kincaid for a number of years, where he was employed as a miner before going to Sheridan 12 years ago.

Surviving are his son, Edward, of Lincoln, Nebr.; his mother, Mrs. Myrtle Rape, Sheridan;, Wyo., and several cousins in this community.

Funeral services and burial will take place at Sheridan.
